Bozeman is a southwestern city in Montana, US. It is Gallatin County's seat. As of 2000, its estimated population is 27,509 making it the state's 5th largest city. Bozeman is named after the founder of the Bozeman Trail, John M. Bozeman. The city is regarded as the state's fastest growing county. It was even elected by the National Civil League last 2001 as an All-American City.

The city houses the Montana State University- Bozeman and the Gallatin Field Airport. Its residents are called Bozemanites. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle is their local newspaper.
